BURLINGTON, Vt. – The Catamounts won the first 12 events Saturday afternoon on their way to a 159-95 win over Merrimack from Forbush Natatorium. Saturday was the Catamounts annual Rally Against Cancer Meet presented by Mascoma Bank.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Catamounts opened the meet with a 200 Yard Medley Relay win. Vermont's combo of Alexis Torykian, Ellie Fazio, Hally Laney and Havana Layton won the event by 1.69 seconds with a time of 1:49.29.
- Autumn Bullinger was the lone Catamount to win two individual events Saturday. She claimed the 100 Back (59.71) and 200 Back (2:11.75) in season best times.
- First year Izzy Macheel earned her first career win in the 200 Free with a time of 1:59.45. She won the race by 2.56 seconds.
- Jackie House won the 1000 Free for the Catamounts, in just her third time swimming the event collegiately. Her time of 10:36.80 was 19.26 seconds faster than her teammate Natalie Schlemmer.
- Emma Freer also picked up her first career win for UVM, taking the 200 Fly in a time of 2:10.56.
- Fazio was the Catamounts top finisher in the 50 Free with a time of 25.05. She also swam seasonal bests in the 100 Free and 100 Breast.
- Anastazja Szukala claimed the 100 Free in a time of 54.76. It was her first event win since winning the same event against Siena in January.
- Lilly Acker won her second event of the season claiming the 200 Breast in a time of 2:27.97. She also placed second in the 100 Breast.
- Lauren Clark rounded out the Catamounts event wins with her first career collegiate win. She claimed the 500 Free in a time of 5:17.86.
WHO'S NEXT
The Catamounts are back in action on Saturday, November 2 as they host Maine at 11 a.m. The meet will stream live on AmericaEast.TV. It will be the Catamounts Military Appreciation Meet presented by Spread Respect. It's also Vermont's America East Spread Respect meet.
