BURLINGTON, Vt. - Vermont Women's Basketball hosts Saint Michaels in an exhibition contest on Tuesday (Oct. 29) at Patrick Gym. The tip-off is set for 6 p.m. ET. Tickets for the preseason matchup are available for purchase at
UVMathletics.com/Tickets or by visiting the Patrick Gym Box Office on game day.
BROADCAST INFORMATION
Vermont's exhibition will not have a video broadcast available. Fans can listen to the game for free on the Vermont Sports Network from Learfield on WVMT, which will air on 96.3 FM in Burlington, 105.9 FM in Plattsburgh, and 620 AM around the rest of the region. The radio broadcast is also available via the
Varsity Network App, and Ryan Zimmerman is on the call.

VERMONT OUTLOOK
- Anna Olson was named to the Preseason All-Conference team for the fourth straight year after earning America East All-Defensive and Second Team All-Conference a year ago. The Monticello, Minn. native ranked second on the Catamounts, scoring 12.3 points per game during conference play and 11.6 overall.
- The Catamounts bring back two of their top five scorers in Olson (11.6 ppg) and Keira Hanson (8.1 ppg)
- Captain Bella Vito (4.9 ppg) returns for his senior campaign along with forward Nikola Priede (3.0 ppg)
- 2022 America East Rookie of the Year Catherine Gilwee returns after missing all last season with an injury. Malia Lenz, Sarah Lazar, and Nika Kurdija round out the returners.
- UVM added seven newcomers to its roster for the 2024-25 campaign. Five first-years and two transfers make up the new group.
- Vermont will look to replace 49.6% of its minutes and 52.7% of its scoring from 2023-24, following the graduations of Emma Utterback and Delaney Richason and the departures of others in the transfer portal.
SCOUTING THE PURPLE KNIGHTS
- The last time the Catamounts took on Saint Michael's was in last year's exhibition. Vermont defeated the Purple Knights 82-35, with Lenz and Hanson leading the scoring with 15 and 14 points, respectively.
- Saint Michaels returns three of their five leading scorers from a year ago, with leading scorer Amber Furch (9.7 ppg), Makayla Blake (7.9 ppg), and Molly Brophy (6.2 ppg) back.
- The Purple Knights also return four of their five leading rebounders from a year ago, Ruby Santos (4.4 rpg), Furch (3.8 rpg), Brophy (3.8 rpg), and Blake (3.6 rpg).
