KINGSTON, R.I. – Vermont won its fourth straight Harold Anderson Invitational winning nine events and collecting 877 team points. The 877 points are a program-record for the Catamounts. The host URI placed second overall with 842 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Catamounts opened the four-day event with a win on Thursday in the 200 Yard Medley Relay. Vermont's combo of Alexis Torykian, Ellie Fazio, Hally Laney and Havana Layton won the event by .41 seconds with a time of 1:43.91.
- Jackie House kicked off the Friday finals with a win in the 500 Free with a time of 4:55.99. She topped her teammate Ella Church by 1.37 seconds.
- Laney earned her first individual win of the weekend in the 200 IM with a time of 2:04.54, she won by .63 seconds.
- The Catamounts closed out Friday's action with record-breaking 200 Free Relay performance. Fazio, House, Layton and Laney set a meet and Tootell Athletic Center record with a time of 1:34.79.
- Tannah Proudfoot qualified for NCAA Zones on Friday with a score of 266.40 in the one meter. She finished fifth overall, it was the second-best 1m score of her collegiate career.
- Laney continued the record-breaking weekend with a new meet record in the 100 Fly with a time of 55.56, like the 200 IM she topped the competition by .63 seconds.
- Alexis Torykian won the 100 Back closing out UVM's Saturday wins with a time of 56.57.
- Church began Sunday's finals for the Catamounts with a win in 1650 Free with a time of 17:13.25. She won by 13.13 seconds.
- House claimed the 100 Free by .10 seconds over Wagner's Mia Goodale.
- Laney picked up the Catamounts last win of the Invitational in record fashion. She won the 200 Fly in a UVM Varsity record, pool record and meet record time of 2:00.91. Her third individual win of the weekend came by 1.66 seconds.
- First Year Emma Freer also set a UVM First Year record in the 200 Fly with a time of 2:03.47, she finished third in the event. The 200 Fly capped a great weekend for Freer who swam three personal bests (200 and 400 IM).
WHO'S NEXT
The Catamounts return to action in two weeks as they travel to UConn for a dual meet with the Huskies on Saturday, December 7. Action from the Wolff-Zackin Natatorium will begin at 10 a.m.
