BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont will face off against Plattsburgh State at home on Wednesday after a weekend trip in Mohegan Sun. Action from Patrick Gym will tip off at 7 p.m. ET and it will be on ESPN+.

ESPN+ with Rob Ryan and Bernie Cieplicki on the call. Fans can listen to the game for free on the Vermont Sports Network, from Learfield on The Game, which will air on 97.1 FM in Burlington, 105.9 FM in Plattsburgh, and 960 AM around the rest of the region. VERMONT OUTLOOK
- The Catamounts are coming off a 1-1 trip at Mohegan Sun. Vermont beat Delaware 75-71 on Saturday and then lost to Fairfield 66-67 on Sunday.
- Nick Fiorillo had a season-high 20 points and 4 threes in the Catamounts' win against Delaware.
- Vermont had three players scoring double-digits in Sunday's loss against Fairfield. TJ Long (18), TJ Hurley (17), and Jace Roquemore (13) contributed for the Catamounts.
- Ileri Ayo-Faleye ranks 39th in the country with 2 blocks per game.
- Vermont ranks 52nd in the country in free throw percentage. The Catamounts have shot 76.2 percent from the free throw line this season. TJ Hurley ranks 15th in the country individually shooting 95.5 percent from the free throw line.

- Shamir Bogues received a Preseason All-Conference honor after earning America East Newcomer of the Year, All-Championship Team, All-Conference First Team, and All-Defensive Team in 2023-24.
- TJ Long also received a Preseason All-Conference honor after landing on the America East All-Championship Team and All-Conference Third Team last year.
SCOUTING THE CARDINALS
- Vermont and Plattsburgh State will meet for the 13th time in series history on Wednesday. The Cats and Cardinals matched up last year in Patrick Gym winning that contest 92-42. UVM owns a 10-2 record in the all-time series.
- Plattsburgh State is led by coach Mike Blaine. Entering his sixth year with the Cardinals he has had a 34-67 record in five seasons.
- The Cardinals are 1-3 on the year. They are coming off a 60-90 loss against Middlebury this past Monday.
- Junior guard Kareem Welch leads the Cardinals averaging 12.5 points, 5 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game.
- Plattsburgh had a 14-12 record in 2023-24 losing to SUNY Cortland in the SUNYAC tournament last year.
