BURLINGTON, Vt. – The Vermont men's basketball team took a 23-point win in Burlington, Vermont against Plattsburgh State. In his first start, Noah Barnett led the Catamounts with 15 points.

• Sam Alamutu hits his first three of the year from a Jace Roquemore pass. Vermont went up 6-4 with 16 minutes remaining in the first half.
• Ileri Ayo-Faleye hit a left-side corner three. Catamounts led 12-10 just before the 12-minute media timeout.
• Vermont entered the bonus with 11 minutes left in the first half.
• Gavin Perryman hit a right-side corner three. His first three made at Patrick Gym, and the Catamounts extended the lead 17-14.
• At the 4-minute media timeout, Vermont led 25-24.
• Noah Barnett had two slam dunks from two Ayo-Faleye passes to end the first half. Vermont led 33-24.
• In the early minutes of the second half, Ayo-Faleye registered two blocks.
