COACH'S QUOTE
"Always want to acknowledge a champion, so the highlight of the day is certainly Kayla earning the pentathlon title. Coach Hill's guidance with her should be noted as well. All point scorers get special mention in their contribution to the team, and all who made a final today out of qualifying rounds too," said head coach
Matt Belfield. "Alex trying the school record in the 200m and a huge performance in the 60m continued to reinforce that he is the best all-around sprinter in school history. Rookie pole vaulter
Jacob Schindler impressed in his first championship with a PR to place above his seeding in an intense vault competition. We'll get some recovery and go after every point we can get tomorrow."
