OCALA, FL – The Catamounts continued their balanced performance at day two of the CSCAA National Invitational, moving up to 28th place with a total of 73 points. Vermont currently sits 28 out of 59 teams at their first ever CSCAA National Invitational, after
Hally Laney earned another top 15 performance and the 800 free and 200 medley relays had strong performances on the second day.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Catamounts began the day with the 200 medley relay with the combination of Alexis Torykian, Ella Church, Laney and Havana Layton placing 36th in a time of 1:46.45. That placement earned Vermont five points in their first event of the day.
- Laney competed in the 100 fly B Final placing 14th with a time of 54.79 to earn Vermont seven points.
- Laney continued her strong afternoon helping the Catamounts place 18th in the 800 free relay. Vermont capped off the night with their best performance earning 23 points in the 800 free relay with the combination of Jackie House, Laney, Church and Emily Rocco.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Catamounts will compete in the final day of the CSCAA National Invitational on Saturday (Mar. 16). Prelims are scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. with the Finals slated to start at 6 p.m.
