ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Catamounts concluded the 2024 ECACs with 27 total points from two top ten finishes by
Ellie Fazio and
Jessica Drozdowski. Vermont placed 18th having competed in the ECACs for just the third time since 2015.

Gerry Cournoyer. "I am excited too that Ellie broke the Vermont 100 breaststroke record."
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Catamounts competed with just two swimmers on Saturday with Fazio placing fourth and setting a Vermont Varsity record in the 100 breast with a time of 1:02.58. Her finish earned the Catamounts 15 points.
- Drozdowski finished a strong day for Vermont placing seventh in the 100 fly with a time of 55.98, gaining Vermont 12 points for her finish.
UP NEXT
Following the conclusion of the ECACs the Catamounts will have time off before heading to CSCAA National Invitational in Ocala, Florida. The Invitational is slated to start on Thursday, March 14 and will run until Saturday, March 16. Start times for each day are still to be determined.
