WORCESTER, Mass. — The first day of competition at Holy Cross saw two Catamounts qualify for three finals while two others recorded top-10 program marks. Vermont also placed six in the top 10.Â

HOW IT HAPPENED
·     Filali finished second in the 400 hurdles with a personal best time of 1:04.15 to qualify for tomorrow's final.Â
·     Siaton qualified for the final of the 200 meters as he placed third in the 200 prelims with a time of 21.55. He also placed fifth in the 100 meters with a personal best time of 10.53, which was good for fifth to qualify for tomorrow's final.Â
·     Locke finished fourth in the 10K with a time of 31:19.87, which is the ninth fastest in program history.Â
·     Voynar jumped 6.96 meters in the long jump, the eighth longest in program history, to finish fifth.
·     Kayla Myers sits sixth in the heptathlon after the first day of competition.Â
·     Jackson King is eighth in the decathlon after the first day of competition.Â
·     Gabby Rausa was ninth in the 400-meter prelims with a time of 58.46.
·     Shea Cushing earned 10th in the 10K with a time of 39:40.59.
·     Nejla Hadzic placed 11th in the 400 hurdle prelims with 1:06.42.Â
·     Finn Patenaude finished 12th in the 400 hurdles with a time of 55.97. He also placed 14th in the 110-meter hurdle prelims with a time of 15.40.Â
·     Laura O'Brien was 12th in the 10K with a time of 40:06.04.Â
·     Ryleigh Garrow earned 13th in the 100-meter hurdle prelims with a personal best time of 14.72.Â
·     Nathan Stine was 14th in the 5000 with a time of 15:20.96.Â
·     Conor Moses threw the javelin 53.96 to finish 14th.
·     Katrina Secinaro placed 16th in the 5000 with a time of 18:04.32.Â
