BURLINGTON, Vt. - Vermont (2-5, 1-0 AE) travels to Maine (6-3, 0-0 AE) on Friday (Sept. 27) before returning home to face Stonehill (1-6, 0-0 AE) on Sunday (Sept. 29). Brian McLaughlin will be on the call for Sunday's contest.
Sunday's game will have free Carnival snacks with snow cones, cotton candy, and donuts being given out by Moulton Winder Field. Upon arrival, students can receive a $5 Dunkin' gift card at the marketing table.
CHURCH STREET CHEESESTEAKS ON-SITE SUNDAY
For the women's soccer (11 a.m.) and field hockey (2 p.m.) games on Sunday of UVM Weekend, Church Street Cheesesteaks Food Truck will be on-site serving from 11-4 p.m.

VERMONT OUTLOOK
- Vermont split its games last weekend. First, it defeated UC Davis, 3-2, in overtime. Then, it fell to eighth-ranked Harvard, 4-1.
- Marie Dijkstra scored two of the Catamounts' four goals on Friday, including the game-winner against UC Davis in overtime. Meg Weyer and Lauren Schellhamer recorded the other pair. Sophia Lefranc, Sophia Drees, and Lotte Kanters (2) recorded the assists on the weekend.
- Dijkstra, named America East Rookie of the Week for her performance against UC Davis, also leads Vermont in scoring with four goals. Her total is the most among America East first-years.
- Weyer has already matched a career-high in goals with two and is the only other Catamount this season with multiple goals. Lefranc, Maddie Priestly, and Schellhamer round out the Vermont players to score this season.
SCOUTING THE BLACK BEARS
- The last time the Catamounts faced Maine, Vermont won 2-1 and clinched their spot in the America East playoffs.
- The Black Bears are 6-3 this season. They defeated Merrimack, 6-0, and Stonehill, 3-0 last weekend.
- Olivia Geniti leads Maine in scoring with four goals and four assists. Victoria Tinghitella is second with 11 points, while Poppy Lambert and Kate Richardson have nine and eight points, respectively.
- Rozárie Mrázová has recorded a .783 save percentage and 1.36 goals against average in seven starts and nine appearances this season.
SCOUTING THE SKYHAWKS
- The Catamounts have only faced Stonehill once before in program history, back in 2022. Vermont won 4-0 on the day with two goals from Maddie Moran and a goal from Kate Hall and Olivia Nolan.
- The Skyhawks come into Sunday's game with a record of 1-6. They will face Saint Francis on Friday before coming to Burlington.
- Tyra Stark is Stonehill's leading scorer with three goals. Emma McGory and Makayla Strickulis are the only other Skyhawks with multiple points this season.
- Shannon Conte has posted a .722 save percentage and 2.06 goals against average in seven starts this season.
