SWIMMING & DIVING NOTEBOOK
The Catamounts (5-4, 1-1 AE) will close out the regular season tomorrow morning from Forbush Natatorium as they host Rhode Island (3-4, 1-1 A10) on Senior Day presented by MVP. The meet is slated to start at 10 a.m. but the Senior Day Ceremony will begin at 9:45 a.m. on AmericaEast.TV.

SALUTE TO THE SENIORS
Saturday will be the final competition at Forbush Natatorium for 17 Catamounts who helped deliver the program's first-ever America East Championship. Vermont will salute the following,

SCOUTING THE RAMS
- Vermont has had the edge in recent years, winning the last three head-to-head meetings.
- The Catamounts defeated URI 172.5-126.5 in Kingston last season winning 10 events, led by Jackie House who won three events – 100, 200 and 500 free.
- URI leads the all-time series with the Catamounts with a record of 13-11.
- In their last meet the Rams fell 186-114 to New Hampshire.
- In November the Catamounts won their fourth straight Harold Anderson Invitational on the campus of URI. Vermont finished with a program-record 877 points, finishing 35 points ahead of the Rams.
NEXT UP TIME TO DEFEND THE TITLE
- Vermont will return to action on February 19-22 at the 2025 America East Championships hosted at the VMI Aquatic Center in Lexington, Va.
- The Catamounts will be looking to defend their crown. Vermont set five varsity records last season to help clinch the program's first-ever league title.
- Eight Catamounts who earned All-America East honors return for Vermont.
