BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont (7-21-2, 6-15-2 HE) women's hockey hits the road to Worcester, MA, for the final away weekend series of the regular season, gearing up to face Holy Cross (8-18-3, 4-16-3 HE) on Saturday (Feb. 15) and Sunday (Feb. 16) from the Hart Center Rink. Saturday's puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. and Sunday's puck drop is slated for 3 p.m. Both games will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Fans can also catch Sunday's matchup streaming live on TSN+.

BROCHU RECOGNITION
- Rose-Marie Brochu was most recently named Hockey East Player of the Week, the first Catamount this season to be named to this weekly honor.
- On Saturday, February 8, in a 3-2 win over Boston College, Brochu notched her first career three-point game (two goals and one assist on game winning goal), first career multi-goal game, won 18 of her 20 faceoffs taken, and tallied a tied team high five shots on net, earning her the Hockey East Player of the Week honor.
- Brochu is up to four goals and 11 total points on the season, a new career high in both categories.
VERMONT OUTLOOK
- Vermont comes off a weekend seeing the Catamounts compete in a rare home-and-home series with Boston College, falling 7-1 on the road in Chestnut Hill, MA before coming back home to Gutterson Fieldhouse and defeating the Eagles 3-2, securing their fourth win against a top 15 nationally ranked opponent this season.
- In UVM's most recent victory, Brochu tallied Vermont's first two goals followed by McKenzie Cerrato netting the game-winning goal, her first goal of the season. Anna Podein secured her first point of the season earning one assist. Oona Havana and Ashley Kokavec each tallied one assist as well in UVM's 3-2 victory over Boston College.
- Vermont is the only Hockey East school to score a shorthanded goal in back-to-back games this season.
- UVM has been solid in the faceoff circle this season, ranking 13th in the Nation in faceoff win percentage with a 52.3% success rate, good for third in Hockey East. Evelyne Blais-Savoie is at the forefront of these wins for UVM, individually ranking eighth in the Nation and first in Hockey East with 368 total wins on the campaign.
- Vermont is the only Hockey East school that has two centers in the conference in the top 10 for most faceoffs won this season. Blais-Savoie sits alone at the top with 368 while Brochu rounds out the top 10 with 240 faceoff wins.
- UVM is one of five Hockey East schools to have two or more defenders with seven or more assists on the season so far, (Bent and Kokavec). Providence, UConn, Northeastern, and Boston University are the other four Hockey East schools.
- Vermont is one of five Hockey East schools to have two defenders with three or more goals, (Eikos and Kokavec). Northeastern, Providence, Boston College, and New Hampshire are the other four schools.
- Lara Beecher leads the team in points, having 15 total points on a team high six goals and a tied team high nine assists.
- Beecher leads the team in shots, tallying 91 on the season thus far, good for sixth most in Hockey East.
- Kokavec leads all UVM blueliners in points, notching 13 points on four goals and a tied team high nine assists so far this season.
- Kokavec's 75 shots thus far is the third most by a defender in Hockey East to this point.
SCOUTING THE CRUSADERS
- Holy Cross is 8-18-3 overall on the season and 4-16-3 in Hockey East play.
- The Crusaders hold a 5-6-2 home record and a 3-12-1 away record.
- Holy Cross is 1-4 in their last five games. The Crusaders most recent win came on February 1, 2025, defeating Maine 1-0 in overtime. It was the Crusaders second shutout win on the season.
- The Crusaders are led by sophomore forward Emily Crovo who has posted 16 points on six goals and 10 assists, team highs in every category. Junior forward Moreau Alexia is the only other Crusader with double digit points, tallying 12 on the season with five goals and seven assists.
- The Catamounts hold a 13-5-1 all-time record against Holy Cross, most recently falling 2-1 in overtime on November 9, 2024, from Gutterson Fieldhouse during the first half of the season.
