BROADCAST INFORMATION
The first-round matchup will be nationally televised on
ESPN. Fans can listen to the game for free on the Vermont Sports Network from Learfield on WVMT, which will air on 96.3 FM in Burlington, 105.9 FM in Plattsburgh, and 620 AM around the rest of the region. The radio broadcast is also available via the Varsity Network App, and Ryan Zimmerman is on the call.Â

VERMONT OUTLOOKÂ
- The Catamounts defeated UAlbany 62-55 in their last game, winning their eighth America East Championship in program history and first title on the road.
- Nikola Priede led all scorers with 20 points, which marks her second 20+ point game of the season. Catherine Gilwee and Anna Olson were second and third with 12 and 11 points, respectively.
- Priede led Vermont rebounds with nine. Olson and Sarah Ericson were tied for second with six. Bella Vito was third with two.
- Olson and Keira Hanson led the Catamounts in distribution with two assists a piece. Ericson and Vito each recorded an assist to round out the Catamounts who earned assists.
- Saturday's matchup will be the second between the Wolfpack and Vermont. The two teams have met once before, in 2009, when the Catamounts defeated NC State, 52-47, in Raleigh.
- This season, Olson is Vermont's leading scorer, averaging 12.8 points per game. Keira Hanson and Priede are second and third, averaging 9.6 and 9.1 per game, respectively.Â
- Vito leads the Catamounts on the boards with 5.7 per game. Olson and Priede are second and third, averaging 5.2 and 4.5 per game, respectively.Â
SCOUTING THE PACK
- NC State has won six of its last seven games going into Saturday, with its lone loss coming in the ACC Tournament Championship nearly two weeks ago against No. 11 Duke.
- Aziaha James was recently named an AP All-American Honorable Mention. James, Zoe Brooks, and Saniya Rivers were all named to the All-ACC First Team. Brooks was also named the Most Improved Player in the ACC. Â Â
- James leads the Wolfpack in points with an average of 17.9 per game, followed by Brooks and Rivers, who have averages of 14.3 and 11.7, respectively. Â
- Madison Hayes is NC State's top rebounder, hauling 7.1 boards a game. Rivers is second with 6.4 per game, and James and Tilda Trygger are tied at third with 4.9 boards.Â
- The Pack like to play fast, they've scored 13.1 points per game in transition this season, which is 29th in the NCAA.
- Over the last four seasons the Pack are 62-6 at home. This season they are a perfect 16-0.
- The Pack are making their 30th NCAA Tournament appearance. They are 19-2 in NCAA Tournament games in Raleigh and have won 18 straight in their home city dating back to 1983.
- Saturday will be the Pack's first-ever game against a 15-seed.
CATAMOUNTS IN THE NCAA TOURNAMENT
- The Catamounts are 1-7 all-time in the NCAA Tournament. With their win coming against Wisconsin (64-55) in 2010.Â
- Not including its 2009 and 2023 games at UConn, Vermont has lost their other five matchups by an average margin of 8.0 points per game with two games decided by five points or less.
- In their eight NCAA Tournament games the Catamounts are averaging 63.8 points per game and have scored at least 52 points in every one of their NCAA Tournament appearances.
- This will be the Catamounts second time as a No. 15 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
- Vermont's best-ever seed was an eight in 1993.
- Vermont is the only team in America East to ever host an NCAA Tournament game. In the 1993 first round the Catamounts lost 80-74 to Rutgers at Patrick Gym.
