BURLINGTON, Vt. – The 2025-26 regular season schedule has been announced for the Vermont women's hockey program. The Catamounts will play 21 times at Gutterson Fieldhouse including one exhibition game. All of the Catamounts home games and road contests in Hockey East will air on ESPN+.

NOTES

• Vermont will begin the 2025-26 campaign with an exhibition game on Sept. 20 at 2 p.m. hosting Saint Michaels from Gutterson Fieldhouse.
• UVM's regular season Home Opener presented by TD Bank will be on Friday, Oct. 3 at 6 p.m. as the Catamounts welcome Penn State to Gutterson Fieldhouse for the first weekend series of the regular season. Vermont and Penn State will clash on the ice again on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 2 p.m. from Gutterson.
• The Catamounts visit St. Lawrence on Friday, Oct. 10 and Saturday, Oct. 11 for their first away weekend series of the 2025-26 season.
• The following weekend, Vermont is set to compete in the Ice Breakers Tournament hosted by Union in Schenectady, N.Y. On Friday, Oct. 17 Vermont will clash with the defending National Champions, Wisconsin, in the first game of the tournament. Then on Saturday, Oct. 18 Vermont will either face host school Union, or Saint Anslem, pending the results of Friday's contests.
• Vermont will come home for a four-game home slate, hosting Franklin Peirce on Friday, Oct. 24 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 25 at 3 p.m. The Catamounts will then begin conference play the next weekend, welcoming Boston College to Gutterson Fieldhouse on Friday, Oct. 31 at 11 a.m. for the teams Catamount Classroom Game presented by Community Bank. UVM wraps up their four-game homestand on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 2 p.m. against the Eagles.
• UVM travels to Boston, MA for a weekend series with Northeastern on Friday, Nov. 7 and Saturday, Nov. 8. The Catamounts then come home for a weekend series border battle with UNH on Friday, Nov. 14 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 15 at 3 p.m.
• Vermont duels with the 2023-24 Hockey East champions, UConn, in Storrs, CT for a weekend series on Friday, Nov. 21 and Saturday, Nov. 22.
• The Catamounts will welcome Cornell, who made it to the National semifinals in 2024-25, for a weekend series at Gutterson Fieldhouse, wrapping up the November slate on Friday, Nov. 28 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 29 at 3 p.m.
• Vermont plays just two games in December before the holiday break, hosting Holy Cross on Friday, Dec. 5 at 2 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. in a rematch of the 2024-25 Hockey East Opening Round.
• UVM wraps up their non-conference matchups with a home-and-home series with Dartmouth, hosting the Big Green on Friday, Jan. 2 at 6 p.m., the first game of the 2026 calendar year, before traveling over to Hanover, N.H. to close out the series on Saturday, Jan. 3.
• After the Dartmouth home-and-home series, the Catamounts travel to North Andover, MA for an away weekend series with Merrimack on Friday, Jan. 9 and Saturday, Jan. 10. Vermont will host Merrimack on Sunday, Feb. 15 during Senior Day presented by MVP Health Care.
• A rematch of the 2024-25 Hockey East Quarterfinals takes place on Friday, Jan. 23 and Saturday, Jan. 24 when Vermont travels to Boston, MA for an away weekend series with the defending Hockey East Champion, Boston University. Vermont will host the Terriers on Thursday, Feb. 5 at 7:30 p.m. when they come to Burlington, wrapping up their season series.
• Vermont's annual Pack the Gut game presented by Windjammer is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. as the Catamounts wrap up their season series with Northeastern.
• The Catamounts final home game of the regular season is slated for Sunday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. vs Merrimack. 
• UVM closes out the regular season with two away games, first on Friday, Feb. 20 at Holy Cross and the second on Saturday, Feb. 21 at UNH.
