SCOUTING THE FALCONS
Bentley has won Atlantic Hockey in each of the last two seasons. They've won a program-record 23 games in both of those years. They are led by Head Coach Andy Jones, who's entering his fourth season behind the bench. Prior to his time in Waltham, he was the Associate Head Coach at UMass Lowell for five years. In each of Jones' three seasons at Bentley they've led Atlantic Hockey in fewest goals allowed per game.

The Falcons defeated Carleton University (Ottawa, ON) 6-5 in overtime last Saturday in an exhibition tilt. The Falcons received 23 votes in this week's USCHO poll, the fifth most of any team outside of the top-20. They ended last season ranked 20th in the poll.

In his five seasons behind the bench at AIC Vermont Head Coach Steve Wiedler was 4-3-7 against Bentley. The Catamounts are 2-0-0 all-time against Bentley having hosted them at Gutterson Fieldhouse in December of 2016. UVM defeated the Falcons 7-1 and 3-1 in the two-game set. Current Vermont Assistant Coach Brendan Bradley had a goal and three assists in the series.

NEWCOMERS LEAD THE COMEBACK AGAINST BROCK
Last Saturday the Catamounts welcomed Brock to the Gut for the second straight year as their exhibition opponent. The Badgers jumped out to an early 2-0 lead but goals from newcomers Andoni Fimis, Michael Hagens and Logan Renkowski led a UVM comeback in a 4-2 win. Hagens led all skaters Saturday with seven shots on net. Hagens faced Bentley in the First Round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament, a 3-1 win for Boston College over the Falcons in Worcester, MA.
