ATLANTA, Ga. - Jadyn Weltz is one of 26 recent graduates who have been selected for the 23rd class of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association "So You Want To Be A Coach" program. The program will take place from Wednesday through Friday, April 1-3, during the WBCA Convention in Phoenix, Ariz.

The "So" program increases the understanding and application of skills necessary to secure coaching positions in women's basketball, increases the understanding and awareness of competencies necessary for success in coaching, introduces female basketball players to coaches and administrators, and raises awareness of the existing talent pool of female basketball players who have a passion and interest in coaching the game of women's basketball.
Weltz, a captain during the 2025-26 season, finished her career as a Catamount, averaging 11.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game. She led the team with 1.4 steals per game, ranked second in the conference in assist-to-turnover ratio, and finished fourth in America East with 3.9 assists per game.
Over her career, Weltz earned America East All-Conference Second Team honors twice, along with All-Conference Third Team, All-Defensive Team, All-Academic Team, and All-Rookie Team recognition. She surpassed the 1,000-point milestone this season and is also a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Council.

To be eligible for the "So" program, one must have exhausted their final year of basketball eligibility at a four-year institution, have graduated within the past year, and must be nominated by their WBCA-member head coach. Each participant is selected based on her academics, contributions to women's basketball on and off the court, professional resume, and a written recommendation from their head coach.
