COACH'S QUOTE
"Day 2 brought some weather challenges for sure, but I thought our athletes were pretty well prepared to take on the day. Excellent scoring performances from
Morgan McCuen and Bennett in the 3K, while on the women's side,
Erin Carty finished off a stellar weekend with big points in the 400m Hurdles.
Lucy Filkin and
Inge Schmidt also generated personal bests under less than ideal conditions in the discus and 200m respectively. Sydney got us a couple more points in the 100m final and finished out a full weekend of sprints with another pretty good 200m. We are a tired group heading home, but our men and women can be proud of how well they supported each other at this championship. We will have the whole team together in Amherst this coming Saturday. Looking forward to another step forward in our preparation for America East."
