LOWELL, Mass. – For the second consecutive year
Rachel Barba won the 800m at the America East Outdoor Championships.
Ryleigh Garrow earned points in three events and
Will Just picked up All-Conference honors in the 1500m. Garrow's 100m hurdles,
Kate Kelly's triple jump and the women's 4x100 relay were all program best marks. The Vermont women finished in sixth place with 62 points and the men in ninth at 35.5 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Earning ten points for the team, Barba went back-to-back in the 800m with a finishing time of 2:10.24.
- Barba made her move in the second of two 400m laps to take the 800m. Her second lap was completed in 1:04.59, the fastest in the field closing from sixth place at the turn to take the win.
- Ryleigh Garrow became the first Catamount to post a time in the women's 100m hurdles in under 14 seconds. Her school record time of 13.97 second time was quick enough for fourth place and five points.
- Garrow added to her big weekend with a third-place finish and podium in the high jump with a 1.61m leap. This gave her five more points and all-conference honors. Her 10.75 total points (100 hurdles, 4x100, high jump) led the Catamounts for the Championship Meet.
- Kate Kelly set a program record in the triple jump at 11.71m, finishing seventh and picked up two points for the women.
- The Vermont team of Carter Faas, Nate Wanger, Avinabo Poddar and Tyler Castillo collected seventh in the men's 4x100 relay to earn two points.
- The Catamount women set a school best in the women's 4x100 relay. Erin Carty, Ryleigh Garrow, Inge Schmidt and Sydney Greenidge combined for a 47.41 second time to place sixth and grab three points.
- Will Just earned All-Conference honors with a third-place finish and podium in the men's 1500m. His 3:48.07 is second in Vermont program history and earned six points for the team.
- Two Catamounts grabbed points in the women's 1500m with Bella Fryer going fourth at 4:29.94 for five points and Alex Beal in seventh at 4:33.31 and two points.
- Erin Carty clocked a 1:01.89 for a season best time in the women's 400 hurdles to finish in fourth and pick up five points.
- Andres Santiago finished in seventh in the 400 hurdles at 54.87 seconds and two points for the Vermont men in a career best time.
- After points in the 10k on Saturday, Siena Stanley added three more in the women's 5k at 17:29.23 in sixth.
- Patrick Mozden, Will Just, Evan Cline and James Cilwik teamed up for a seventh-place finish and two points in the men's 4x800 relay.
- The team of Nate Wanger, Kyle Hoffman, Dillon Stoeffler and Andres Santiago finished at 3:18.85 in seventh of the 4x400 relay for another two points.
- Mackenzie Thompson, Mary Cabell, Rachel Barba and Inge Schmidt crossed the line at 3:55.74 in the women's 4x400 relay, collecting two points.
- In the men's high jump Chay Mojallali tied for fourth and split points, earning 4.5 total with a leap of 1.97m.
- Eli Lammi added four more points for the men in fifth place of the discus throw at 49.07m.
- Jackson King finished in fourth place in the Decathlon with 6070 total points, earning five in the team standings.
