BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont (0-0-1) will host Sacred Heart (1-0-0) on Sunday, August 16 for their annual Peter Baldwin Memorial Game presented by Morgan Stanley. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on ESPN+ with Brian McLaughlin on the call.

PETER BALDWIN MEMORIAL GAME pres. MORGAN STANLEY 
  

• The annual Peter Baldwin Memorial Game allow us to honor Peter's memory, and his commitment to the special Vermont community through both his time at UVM and his work at Morgan Stanley. 

• Baldwin, a 1968 graduate and 1984 UVM Athletic Hall of Fame inductee, guided the Vermont men's soccer team to three straight Yankee Conference titles and currently ranks fifth on the school's all-time scoring list. 

• Abigail Mills will be wearing a #11 arm band in Peter's honor, as she exhibits the work ethic, sportsmanship, and leadership that Peter embodied throughout his life. 

VERMONT OUTLOOK 

• The Catamounts are 8-0-1 against Sacred Heart all-time. Last season, Vermont tied with Sacred Heart 0-0 on the road.  

• Sacred Heart went (11-9-2) last year winning the MAAC conference championship and lost to Georgetown in the first round of the NCAA tournament. 

• Abby Ballinger recorded her first collegiate goal against Merrimack on Wednesday. 

• Éléonore Blouin and Katelyn Figueiredo notched their first collegiate assists. 

• Vermont returns two America East All-Conference members from their 2025 squad, Bridget Kennedy and Madeline Gardner. 

• Vermont was picked to finish third in the America East 2026 Women's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll. 

• Catamounts welcome eight newcomers to their 2026 roster; Kendra Ivaska, Juliette Perreault, Reese Kingsbury, Rosie Angelone, Shaan Sandhu, Eleni Stowell, Kate Hawley, and Éléonore Blouin.
