Women's Soccer Faces Army on the Road on Sunday

BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont (0-2-1) will continue on the road for a match against Army (1-2-0) on Sunday, August 23 in West Point, NY. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

VERMONT OUTLOOK

The Catamounts last faced Army in 2021, hosting a match that ended in a 0-0 tie.

Sophia Kling is 4th in the America East in save percentage (.813). Kling leads the Catamounts with 13 saves on the season.

This will be Army's fourth game of the 2026 season. The Black Knights hold a 1-2-0 record and are coming off a 2025 campaign in which they finished 14-6-2 and earned an NCAA Tournament berth.

Army was picked as the favorite in the Patriot League preseason poll.

Vermont returns two America East All-Conference members from their 2025 squad, Bridget Kennedy and Madeline Gardner.
