BOSTON – No. 13 Vermont (4-0-2) battled with Boston University (0-2-3) for a full 90 minutes on Tuesday night, but in the end the result came down to a 0-0 draw in Boston from Nickerson Field. With the result, the Catamounts remain unbeaten through the first six matches of the season for the sixth time in program history and for the second consecutive season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Boston University's Keke Abai brought the pressure early, firing the first two shots of the match on net, using his left foot to try and pin the right corner, but Herceg was locked in, making two different diving saves to punch the ball out of harms way, keeping the Terriers off the scoreboard.
- The Catamounts got their first scoring chance in the 27th minute of play when Jeremy Tsang found David Ismail in the box. Ismail took the bouncing ball and attempted a bicycle kick, but his shot went slightly high of the net as the match remained scoreless.
- In the second half of play, both teams were trying to generate offense, but it was a story of the goalkeepers that prevailed. Boston University's Ben Alexander made the lone save against Ismail in the 68th minute while Herceg successfully snagged all three of the Terriers shots on goal, seeing both teams settled for a 0-0 draw after the final buzzer.

- Herceg made five saves on Tuesday night to secure his fourth shutout of the season and third consecutive. Herceg is now up to 20 career shutouts with Vermont.
- Ismail led a team high two shots on goal.
- Islam Houssni, Halim Bangura, and Patrick Aguilar all played the full 90 minutes of play for UVM.
