UVM Homecoming & Family Weekend Set for Oct. 10-12

BURLINGTON, Vt. – The University of Vermont will celebrate Homecoming & Family Weekend October 10-12. The UVM Athletic Department will be sponsoring two events during the weekend.

On Friday (Oct. 10) all former student-athletes are welcome to join current athletic department coaches, staff and administrators for a gathering at Nectar's on Main Street from 5-7 p.m.. There will be free appetizers and a cash bar.

On Saturday (Oct. 11) the athletic department is sponsoring the annual Kevin Roberson Student-Athlete 5K Memorial Run/Walk. The course will take runners and walkers through campus and begins and ends with a lap around the Livak Track. Registration ($10 for adults; $5 for children) begins at 9 a.m. and the race starts at 9:30. All proceeds go toward the Kevin Roberson Scholarship Fund, which assists eligible student-athletes in pursuit of their athletics and academic passions.

Saturday (Oct. 11)
12:00 p.m. – Women's Swimming & Diving vs. Wagner
1:00 p.m. – Men's Soccer vs. Stony Brook

Sunday (Oct. 12)
12:00 p.m. – Field Hockey vs. Rider
1:00 p.m. – Women's Soccer vs. UMass Lowell
2:00 p.m. – Women's Hockey vs. RPI
