Dayna Colang are tied for the team lead in scoring with 17 points. Both of them have registered eight goals and nine assists. The Catamounts are 5-1-0 this season when one of them scores.
STRONG START AS A CATAMOUNT FOR DROBOTFreshman defenseman
Amanda Drobot has had strong offensive start for Vermont this season. She has a goal and eight assists for nine points. Her lone goal was the game-winner at Syracuse on November 15. She is tied for sixth in scoring amongst all Hockey East defensemen.
QUICK STARTS KEY FOR VERMONT The Catamounts are 6-2-1 when they score first this season. They are also 4-0-0 this season when leading after the first and second period. Vermont is an even 4-4-1 when they are tied after the first and second period.
ZUBACK SCORING IN BUNCHESSenior forward
Brittany Zuback is tied for 10th in the NCAA with 11 goals. She is also tied for third in the NCAA with five power play goals. In November she set a new program record with an eight-game goal-scoring streak. She scored two game-winning goals over the eight-game stretch.
CATAMOUNTS IN THE HOLIDAY SPIRITVermont is 4-1-3 in its last eight games in the month of December. Under Coach Plumer the Catamounts are 3-1-1 during the last three seasons. Last year Vermont tied Colgate 1-1 on the road and then defeated Dartmouth for the first time in program history.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTDartmouth: The Big Green are coming off a 6-1 loss to No. 1 Boston College Wednesday night in Hanover. Dartmouth started the season off with four straight wins but enter Sunday's contest with a seven-game winless streak. They are 0-6-1 since a 5-1 win over St. Lawrence on November 8.
Junior forward Laura Stacey leads Dartmouth in scoring with five goals and eight assists for 13 points in 11 games this season.
Sophomore goaltender Robyn Chemago has been in net for all 11 Big Green games this season. She has a .892 save percentage and a 2.90 goals-against average.
Dartmouth is 1-2-0 this season against Hockey East teams. They defeated UNH 6-2 at home and dropped games to the league's two ranked teams Boston U and Boston College.
Last season
Amanda Pelkey scored with 1:06 left in overtime as the Catamounts defeated Dartmouth 1-0 on the road for the program's first-ever varsity win over the Big Green.
I89 RIVALRY IN MANY SPORTSThe Catamounts are 1-2-0 this season as a department against Dartmouth. The men's and women's soccer programs fell to the Big Green this fall while the women's basketball team defeated Dartmouth last weekend. The men's hockey team will travel to Dartmouth on January 11 and the men's basketball team will host the Big Green on January 14. In the spring both Catamount lacrosse programs will face the Big Green in Hanover.
WOMEN'S HOCKEY ALUMNAE WEEKENDThe Catamounts will be hosting their annual alumnae weekend January 30 to February 1. The weekend will include games against Northeastern and Providence, an alumnae game, open practice, and reception at the Windjammer.

ANNUAL TEDDY BEAR TOSS SATURDAY JANUARY 3On Saturday January 3 the Catamounts will host the annual Vermont Teddy Bear Toss, sponsored by the Vermont Teddy Bear Company. We are encouraging fans to bring new or gently used teddy bears and other stuffed animals to toss onto the ice during the second intermission.
All teddy bears and stuffed animals will be donated to patients at Fletcher Allen Health Care, Starr Farm Nursing Home, and Burlington Health & Rehab by members of the Vermont men's and women's hockey teams later this winter.
