Sunday vs. Marist: Marist led 14-12 at the 12:03 mark of the first half but Vermont answered with a 10-0 run and never looked back cruising to an 86-60 win over the Red Foxes at Patrick Gym on November 29. UVM snapped a two-game losing skid and improved to 3-4.
Kurt Steidl returned to the Vermont lineup and paced five Catamounts in double-figures with 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting.
Dre Wills played 27 minutes in just his second game of the season and filled the stat sheet. Wills scored 10 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, dished out six assists and also had two steals. After only two players recorded double-doubles all of last season, three players have already accomplished the feat this season for Vermont.
Ethan O'Day,
Cam Ward and
Nate Rohrer all scored 11 points for Vermont, which outrebounded Marist by a staggering margin, 46-20.

About Dartmouth: Dartmouth was predicted to finish sixth in the eight-team Ivy League. Yale, who Vermont plays on Saturday, was the preseason pick to win the Ivy's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Dartmouth is coming off a 79-56 win, its first of the season, over LIU Brooklyn on Sunday in Hanover. Miles Wright scored a Leede Arena record 39 points while Evan Boudreaux scored 17 points in the first half. Wright and Boudreaux, who rank 1-2 for Dartmouth in scoring, swept the Ivy League weekly awards - Wright was named Player of the Week and Boudreaux earned Rookie of the Week honors. Last season, Dartmouth played in a postseason tournament for the first time in 56 years. The Big Green fell to Canisius in the first round of the CIT. Head Coach Paul Cormier is in his second stint as head coach of the Big Green.
Â
Series History: This will be the 100th meeting all-time between the Catamounts and Big Green. Vermont trails in the head-to-head series 42-57 but has won the last seven and 15 of 16 overall.
Â
Last Meeting vs. Dartmouth: In their last meeting (Jan. 14, 2015),

Ethan O'Day and
Trae Bell-Haynes chipped in eight points each.
Â
Sharing the Wealth: Balance has been a key for Vermont in the early going. Six Catamounts are averaging more than eight points per contest and four different players have led the team in scoring.
Trae Bell-Haynes has led the team three times,
Ernie Duncan twice and
Kurt Steidl and
Cam Ward once.
Â
At the Line: Vermont is shooting lights out from the free throw line so far this season. Despite shooting just 7-of-14 last time out against Marist, the Cats are still shooting 78.7% from the line (111-141), which ranks 10th in the country. That percentage also leads the America East Conference.
