Kirk Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District At-Large Team

BURLINGTON, Vt. - Stephanie Kirk, a junior at the University of Vermont, has been named to the 2014-15 CoSIDA Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team. Kirk carries a 3.98 GPA asn an exercise and movement science major. She was the only skier among the 13 women selected for the squad.

Kirk was the recipient of the Elite 89 award for the 2015 NCAA Skiing Championship. The honor recognizes the individual with the highest GPA at the finals seite for each of the NCAA's championships.

CoSIDA Release

Kirk, a native of Alaska, Anchorage, is made her second NCAA appearance at this year's championships. She earned EISA All-East honors for the second straight year and was also named to the NCAA Skiing All-Academic Team for the third straight season. She competed in every race and posted eight top-10 finishes on the EISA Circuit this year and earned her first podium appearance in the freestyle at the EISA Championships.

A Vermont student-athlete has been named to a CoSIDA Academic All-District team for 13 straight seasons.
