BURLINGTON, Vt. – Women's soccer senior defender Casey Garfinkel, an elementary education major, is our TD Bank Student-Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Oct. 14.

In a 2-0 week for the Catamounts, Garfinkel scored two of Vermont's four goals  - her first goals of the season – and assisted on a third. She delivered the game-winner in a 2-0 win over New Hampshire and scored the first goal in a 2-1 overtime win at Maine.
 
With the win over the Black Bears, Vermont clinched a spot in the America East tournament for the fourth straight year.
