SCOUTING THE TERRIERS
Boston University begins the weekend with a 2-3-3 (2-3-3 WHEA) record to start the 2018-19 season. The Terriers lost Victoria Bach who graduated with 67 points last season and 198 career points for the most in program history. A 2017-18 Hockey East First Team All-Star, Bach now plays with former Vermont captain Gina Repaci '16 on the CWHL's Markham Thunder. Sophomore Jesse Compher leads the Terriers now with 11 points on four goals and a team-high seven assists. Sammy Davis is the team's leading goal scorer with six markers through eight games. BU's top goaltender is Corinne Schroeder who has posted a 2.23 GAA and .927 SV% through seven games in net. Boston University finished last season 14-17-6 (8-11-5 WHEA) for sixth in conference standings and were eliminated by Maine in the Hockey East Quarterfinals.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Friday's game is the 46th all-time meeting between the Catamounts and Boston University, dating back to January 27, 1996. Vermont has a 9-30-6 record against the Terriers and a 1-2-2 mark in the last five meetings. The two programs last met at Walter Brown Arena February 2, 2018 when Vermont earned a 5-1 win. Ève-Audrey Picard registered her second consecutive hat trick in that contest and her third three-plus goal game of the 2017-18 season. The junior assistant captain has experienced personal success against the Terriers with eight points (6 goals, 2 assists) in five games. Seniors Saana Valkama (7 goals, 3 assists) and Alyssa Gorecki (3 goals, 7 assists) have both scored at a point-per-game clip against Boston University.
