SCOUTING THE SEAWOLVES
The Seawolves have alternated wins and losses since losing four straight games to open the season. Most recently, Stony Brook fell by a 16-8 score to Princeton after taking an 8-6 win over Empire State-rival St. John's.

Stony Brook sits fifth in the America East in both goals per game (8.70) and goals against per game (11.50). The Seawolves are at the bottom of the conference in shots per game (30.60) but atop the conference in turnovers, only averaging 11.60 giveaways per game.

Vermont scored five straight to open the game and cruised to a 14-7 win over the UMass Lowell River Hawks last Saturday (April 7) at Virtue Field. Liam Limoges tallied five goals and Ben French recorded four goals and an assist to carry the Cat offense.

Ian MacKay pushed his consecutive point streak to 57 games and tied Gordon Allen '97 for fifth all-time in assists with his 73rd career helper.

Nick Washuta made nine stops between the pipes for the Cats as UVM held its opponent to seven goals or less for the third straight game and eighth time this season.

CLASS OF 2018 MAKES HISTORY
The senior class recorded its 30th win over Division I opponents last Saturday (April 7) against UMass Lowell. With the victory, the Class of 2018 passed the Class of 1994 for the most career wins against DI opponents in program history.

LIMOGES SLIDES INTO UVM RECORDS
With five goals against the River Hawks, freshman Limoges has 21 goals and five assists for 26 points this season.

Among freshmen in UVM history, Limoges now has the ninth most goals in a freshman season. He needs just seven goals to match MacKay's freshman year total of 28 goals in 2014 for fourth in program history.

Limoges is just 10 points shy of matching Ben French's 2017 total and Dawes Milchling's 2016 total of 36 points, the 10th highest point totals in program history.

UVM Hall-of-Famer Craig Mygatt '88 holds the freshman record for goals (50) and points (69), set in the 1985 season.

CATS IN THE POLLS
The Catamounts remained in both national polls for a program record eighth straight week after doubling-up UMass Lowell last weekend.  UVM is now ranked 16th in both the USILA Coaches Poll and the Inside Lacrosse Maverik Media Poll.

Vermont jumped Harvard to re-take second in the NEILA Week 7 Regional Poll. The Cats are behind top-ranked Yale in their seventh straight week in the regional rankings.

WASHUTA THE WALL
Sophomore goalie Nick Washuta sits fifth in the NCAA and second in the America East with a .587 save percentage. His 7.44 goals against average is fourth in the country and second in the conference. Additionally, Washuta is third in the America East and 28th-nationally with 9.91 saves/game.

Washuta became just the fifth Catamount goalie to record 10 wins in a season. With one more win, Washuta will set the program record for most wins in a season. Additionally, the sophomore is now tied with Adam Tischler '97 for sixth most career wins in program history with 14.

VERMONT IN THE NCAA
The Catamounts possess the sixth-ranked scoring defense in the nation, allowing only 7.91 goals per game. On the other side of the field, the Catamount offense is tied for 17th-nationally, scoring 11.64 goals per game. Vermont's scoring margin is eighth in the country at 3.73 goals/game.

EARNING THE (CANADIAN) BACON
Five of Vermont's top-six scorers all hail from north of the border, and more specifically, Ontario.

MacKay leads the team with 33 points through nine games and hails from Port Elgin. Rob Hudson (Oakville) is second on the team with 23 points.

Limoges and the lone American, Dawes Milchling, are tied for third on the team in scoring with 19 points. Limoges comes to Burlington from Toronto.

French (Toronto) rounds out the top-five Catamount scorers with 18 points in eight games. Braiden Davis (Orangeville) is sixth on the team with 17 points.

WHO WEARS THE HATS?
UVM has 13 hat tricks through 11 games this season. MacKay has accounted for four while Limoges and French each have three hat tricks. Hudson has a pair of hat tricks while Davis has a single three-goal game.
