COACH'S QUOTE
"The depleted field certainly made an easier path to victory for both teams, but we missed on some challenging races we would have liked to have had," said head coach
Matt Belfield. "I was especially impressed with
Brennan Huff and
Bill Comstock in the mid-distance for the men, and nice to see
Shane O'Connor back and throwing well.
Neville Caulfield and
Justin Liechty had impressive wins also. Many outstanding runs overall. For the women,
Lauren Trumble's win in the 600m exceeded my high standards for her and was a facility record. The women in the 1K were excellent and
Anya Gorodentsev and
Jenna Bourdeau getting double victories was fantastic too."
