BURLINGTON, Vt. - The UVM men's and women's basketball programs hosted their annual Vermont Basketball Media Day on Wednesday at Patrick Gym with food provided by Domino's

Head coaches John Becker and Alisa Kresge addressed the media, followed by one-on-one interviews with student-athletes Rose Caverly, Hanna Crymble, Josie Larkins, Everett Duncan, Daniel Giddens, Stef Smith and Anthony Lamb. Click below for coverage from media day.

The men's team opens the 2019-20 season on Saturday, October 26 with a 7 p.m. exhibition contest against Brown. Vermont will be retiring the jerseys of Taylor Coppenrath '05 and T.J. Sorrentine '05 from the legendary 2004-05 team that upset fourth-seeded Syracuse for the program's first win in an NCAA Tournament. After a couple of closed scrimmages the women travel to face Dartmouth for their season opener on Tuesday, November 5. The Catamounts home opener is Sunday, November 17 as they host Bryant at 2 p.m.
