TAYLOR COPPENRATH AND T.J. SORRENTINE JERSEY RETIREMENT
Before the game, the University of Vermont will retire T.J. Sorrentine's No. 11 and Taylor Coppenrath's No. 22 jersey. The 2005 University of Vermont graduates helped Vermont earn its first-ever NCAA Tournament win over No. 4 seed Syracuse in the 2005 NCAA Tournament and were inducted into the UVM Athletic Hall of Fame a decade later. Vermont and Brown received a NCAA waiver to host the Division I exhibition as a fundraiser for the Vermont Disaster Recovery Fund (VDRF). All proceeds from the game will be donated to the VDRF. The ceremony will be streamed live at
CatamounTV.com.
COMMEMORATIVE JERSEY RETIREMENT POSTERS
Fans will also have the chance to get a free commemorative jersey retirement poster of Sorrentine and Coppenrath at the game while supplies last. The posters are courtesy of UVM Print and Mail.

GARNERING NATIONAL ATTENTION
The Catamounts received two votes in the Associated Press Top-25 Preseason Poll on Monday. The pair of votes marked the second time in school history that the Cats were mentioned in the preseason media poll and first time since 2003-04. Vermont has also landed at No. 36 in Andy Katz's final Power 36 preseason rankings. Earlier this month,
Anthony Lamb was one of two mid-major players named to the Julius Erving Award Watch List, given annually to the top small forward in college basketball. He was also selected as a Preseason Mid-Major All-American by Stadium's Jeff Goodman and ranked as the No. 3 wing in college basketball by The Athletic's Eamonn Brennan.
UNANIMOUS AMERICA EAST PRESEASON FAVORITE
The defending conference champions were picked as the preseason frontrunner for the fourth consecutive season and sixth time in
John Becker's tenure. UVM earned eight first-place votes and 64 points overall, edging last year's runner-up UMBC in second place with 53 points. Lamb made the Preseason All-Conference Team for the third time in his career. Lamb is joined by fellow conference classmates Andrew Fleming (Maine), K.J. Jackson (UMBC), and Christian Lutete (UMass Lowell) on the Preseason All-Conference Team. The group also consists of sophomores Cameron Healy (UAlbany) and Sam Sessoms (Binghamton).
SCOUTING BROWN
The Bears are coming off their first-ever 20-win season and were picked to finish fifth in this year's Ivy League Preseason Poll. Brown, in addition to 21 wins last year, earned its first postseason victory in program history with an 83-75 win over UAB in the College Basketball Invitational (CBI). Tamenang Choch had an impressive sophomore season as the 6-5 forward was the league's leading rebounder with 8.6 boards per game. He also leads all returning scorers on the team with a 12.5 scoring average. Brandon Anderson nearly posted double figures with 9.2 points per game and drained 34.8% of his long-range attempts.
