He was also selected at No. 40 in Sports Illustrated's rankings of the top 50 players in college basketball. CATAMOUNT CAPTAINS

Everett Duncan will serve as team captains for the upcoming 2019-20 season. Lamb, the reigning America East Player of the Year, returns for his senior year after leading the conference in scoring (21.2) and rebounding (7.8) as a junior. Duncan saw action in 33 games and earned 10 starts as a redshirt junior. He posted the fourth-highest three-point percentage (36.7%) on the team and buried 36 triples.
SCOUTING ST. MICHAEL'S
Like the Catamounts, the Purple Knights will wrap up their preseason slate on Sunday. St. Michael's played its first exhibition game at UConn on Wednesday night and fell 103-64. Walker Storey guided four SMC players in double figures with 15 points and buried 5-of-9 attempts from three-point land. Newcomer Kasai Brown almost recorded a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds. Under the direction of first-year head coach Eric Eaton, the Purple Knights will try to build off a 7-19 campaign from a year ago. Senior and Essex native Eli DiGrande leads all returning starters with 10.2 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. He also racked up five double-doubles last season. Fellow senior Jordan Guzman follows with a 9.8 scoring average and shot 42.9% from long range. He set a career high with 33 points against No. 4 Saint Anselm last December.
