BOSTON – UVM men's basketball senior
Anthony Lamb has been named America East Player of the Week. The league office made the announcement on Monday. The honor is Lamb's 15th-career weekly conference accolade.

Lamb helped the Catamounts to a 2-0 week with wins over former conference rival Boston University and St. John's. The Rochester, New York native averaged a double-double with 19.0 points and 14.5 rebounds per game. The 6-6 forward also dished out eight assists and swatted away three shots.
In the home opener against the Terriers on Wednesday, he notched his second double-double of the season with a game-high 15 points and set a career high with 16 boards. He matched a team high with three assists and denied one shot.
Lamb hit the game-winning shot in the final seconds of Saturday's 70-68 victory at St. John's and gave the Cats their first win over a Power 5 program since 2009. He finished the contest with a game-high 23 points, 13 boards, and five assists.
Vermont stands at 4-0 on the year for the first time since 1977-78. UVM visits the defending national champion and ninth-ranked Virginia on Tuesday (Nov. 19). The opening tip is set for 7 p.m. A limited number of tickets are available for purchase at
