The Vermont Catamounts (2-4, 2-1 AE) close out the first semester of competition at the three-day Harold Anderson Invitational on the campus of the University of Rhode Island. The three-day meet begins Friday (Nov. 22) and continues through Sunday (Nov. 24).

HAROLD ANDERSON INVITATIONAL HISTORY
Vermont is traveling down to Kingston, Rhode Island for the first time since 2006 to compete in the Harold Anderson Invitational. Teams competing at the 2006 invite were URI, Fairfield, Holy Cross and Providence College, and Vermont took second place behind Maine.

Rhody has won its home invitational each of the last 12 seasons since Vermont's last appearance in 2006.

2019 HAROLD ANDERSON INVITATIONAL FIELD
Teams attending this year's invitational include Rhode Island, Assumption College, Holy Cross, Providence College and Maine. Of the teams attending, the Catamounts have only gone head-to-head with the Black Bears, taking a 160-140 victory.

LAST YEAR'S THANKSGIVING INVITE
The Catamounts competed in the Gompei Invitational last season, hosted by WPI. Vermont finished the three-day invite in fourth place of 15 teams.

Key performances came from
Sierra Sexton who finished seventh in the 100 free,
Morgan Montgomery placed eighth in the in the 200 back, Maddy Kovacs and
Kristina Posnick took seventh and eighth in the 500 free and the 400 relay team of Sexton,
Sophia Smith,
Kira Parker and Amelia Baxley finished sixth.

Junior captain
Emily Murphy swept the boards for the third time this season against Bryant last weekend. This season, Murphy has won the three-meter dive in four of five meets this season. She earned America East diver of the week honors for the third time this season and sixth time in her career. Â Â
