ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The 400 medley relay team of
Peyton McNulty,
Jenny O'Neil,
Katherine Morrissey, and
Cailin Campbell set a UVM freshman record to finish ninth in the first day of the 2020 ECAC Championship at Lejeune Hall on Navy's campus.
After the first day of competition, Vermont sits in 12th place with 38 points among 20 teams.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The 200 medley relay team of Campbell, Sarah Doherty, Sophia Smith, and Kira Parker touched the wall first in the B Final to finish ninth overall with a time of 1:39.13.
- Campbell raced in the B Final of the 200 IM, posting a time of 2:08.17 to finish 15th.
- McNulty, O'Neil, Morrissey, and Campbell combined to post a time of 3:57.04 to set a freshman program record in the 400 medley relay and finish ninth overall.
