BURLINGTON, Vt. - Cioffi Men's Basketball Head Coach
John Becker officially announced the addition of four newcomers for the 2020-21 campaign on Wednesday, including one freshman and three transfers.

These four new Catamounts will be added to the 13 returning players from a team fresh off its second straight America East Championship and third in the last four years.
"I'm really excited about the four newcomers to our program," Becker said. "We were able to bolster our depth chart and I'm really excited about their potential. This group as a whole really compliments our returners to round out our roster."
The newcomers include:
Bernie Andre
6-6 • 210 • F • North Miami Beach, Fla./Northern Arizona
• Comes to Burlington as a graduate transfer from Northern Arizona and has one year of athletic eligibility remaining
• Earned All-Big Sky Honorable Mention honors last season after averaging 11.2 points and 6.6 rebounds per game
• Recorded 18 double-digit scoring games and had four 20-point efforts with the Lumberjacks last season
• Named 2018-19 Big Sky Newcomer of the Year and landed on the All-Big Sky Third Team
• Selected to the Big Sky All-Academic Team in 2020 and was a two-time NAU Golden Eagle Scholar-Athlete Award recipient
Georges Lefebvre
6-9 • 200 • F • Montreal, Canada/Cape Fear Academy
• Collected North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association (NCISAA) All-Conference honors as a junior and senior at Cape Fear Academy (CFA)
• Helped CFA to the top overall seed and a semifinal berth in the 2020 NCISAA Tournament
• Named to the NCISAA All-State Team as a senior
• Averaged a double-double (15 points, 10 rebounds) in his final season at CFA
• Served as a team captain for the 2019-20 campaign
Justin Mazzulla
6-3 • 195 • G • Johnston, R.I./George Washington
• 2019-20 midseason transfer from George Washington and will have one full year of eligibility left
• Saw action in 70 games with 45 starts for the Colonials in two-plus years
• Averaged 8.9 points and 4.5 rebounds as a sophomore in 2018-19 and started all 33 games
• Paced GW as a sophomore in assists (3.5) and steals (1.0) per game
• Made the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team following his sophomore season
Tomas Murphy
6-8 • 230 • F • Wakefield, R.I./Northeastern
• Graduate transfer from Northeastern where he played in 68 career games
• Posted 7.9 points per game and shot 56.0% from the floor for the Huskies
• Selected to the 2017-18 Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) All-Rookie Team
• Played for the Finnish National Team in the 2016 U-20 European Championships
• Prior to Northeastern, he was rated a four-star recruit by ESPN coming out of Northfield Mount Hermon
