BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont track & field head coach
Matt Belfield has announced the schedule for the upcoming 2021-22 indoor season, which kicks off on December 11 at Dartmouth.

"We are excited to have the chance to compete indoors again," said Belfield. "To miss the excitement and unique nature of the indoor season last year was really disappointing. We will look to get off to a strong start here in December and then count on our men and women to do a great job over the break to be ready for January. New England's, America East, and ECAC/IC4A will all be tremendous opportunities for our student-athletes in the February/March team championships part of the season."
Vermont begins the 2021-22 campaign at Dartmouth's Leverone Field House on December 11. The Catamounts will compete against the Big Green, as well as America East foes Maine and New Hampshire.
UVM returns to action after Winter Break with a trio of meets at Middlebury College, starting with the Winter Classic on January 15. Vermont will make the short trip down Route 7 the following week for the Middlebury Snowflake on January 22. The string of meets at Middlebury's Virtue Field House will conclude on January 29 with the Middlebury Invitational. All three meets are slated to begin at 11 a.m.
The Catamounts then head to Roxbury, Massachusetts on February 4 for the start of the two-day New England Championships, hosted at Reggie Lewis Track & Athletic Center.
Vermont travels to Staten Island, New York the following week for the Fasttrack National Invitational on February 11. The invite will be hosted at Ocean Breeze.
UVM's lone home meet of the indoor season will be on Sunday, February 13 when the Catamounts host New Hampshire at Gardner-Collins Indoor Track. The home event kicks off at 12 p.m.
Vermont has one final tune-up before the conference championships with a quick trip to Canton, New York for the St. Lawrence Open on February 18.
The America East Indoor Track & Field Championships begin on February 25 at the Boston University Track & Tennis Center. The conference championships conclude on February 26.
The Catamounts will return to the BU Track & Tennis Center for the ECAC/IC4A Championships on March 5 and 6.
Qualifiers for the NCAA Championships will head to Birmingham, Alabama for the national event on March 11 and 12.
