Rob Dow said, "and deserves to be recognized as one of the top players in the country."
Nagy is one of three America East student-athletes receiving All-America honors, joining New Hampshire's Bridger Hansen and Paul Mayer.
The Bow, New Hampshire native has already received several accolades for his performance in the 2021 spring season. Nagy was most recently named to the NCAA Division I All-Northeast Regional First Team. The midfielder also received America East All-Conference First Team honors back in April.
Nagy led the Catamounts in assists (4) and points (6). The junior also posted a team-high 15 shots, including eight shots on goal in eight games played. Nagy's lone goal of the season came in the America East Semifinals when he scored the deciding marker to defeat No. 3 NJIT by a score of 1-0. His goal in the eighth minute sent Vermont to the America East Championship Game for the first time since 2015 and the ninth time in program history. Nagy was later named to the America East All-Championship Team.
Over his career at Vermont, Nagy has posted 12 points, with a career-high two goals registered in his sophomore campaign. Nagy's first collegiate goal came on the road at Siena in 2019. He registered his first career point as a rookie, with an assist in a 3-0 victory over LIU.
