BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont Athletics will host the 17th annual Rally Awards, a celebration of the 2020-21 season presented by Acadia Insurance, on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook from May 26-28. Various elements of the Catamounts all-sports celebration will be released on social media throughout each day.
All of Vermont's senior student-athletes and each team's MVP are honored at the Rally Awards. Senior members of the pep band, dance team, cheer team and Athletic Training program will also be honored. The athletic department will also hand out our seven major awards, they include the:
Athletic Department Award - presented to a member of the faculty, staff or community in recognition of loyal support and continuing devotion to the UVM athletic program
Jeff Stone Memorial Award - recognizing exceptional contributions in community service
Meg and Kate Ryley Underclass Athletic Achievement Award - recognizing outstanding athletic accomplishments by underclass student-athletes
Semans Trophy - presented to the seniors who have excelled in the athletic arena and demonstrated exceptional leadership
Russell O. Sunderland Memorial Trophy - presented to the seniors who have persevered over obstacles in their career
Wasson Athletic Prize - presented to the top senior scholar-athletes at UVM
J. Edward Donnelly Award - presented to Vermont's top senior student-athletes
