LOWELL, Mass. – Vermont track & field saw 10 Catamounts earn All-Conference honors in the 2021 America East Outdoor Track & Field Championships over the weekend at UMass Lowell.

Of Vermont's 10 All-Conference winners, six were on the women's track & field team, which is their highest total since 2017. The UVM men had four All-Conference winners, and five total awards with
Alex Parasky earning the honor in two events.
Parasky was an America East Champion in the men's decathlon. The graduate student registered a score of 6,641 points, which is the second-highest total in program history. In the 110-meter hurdles, Parasky posted a time of 15.16 seconds for third overall and the All-Conference honor.
DJ Snide was also All-Conference in the decathlon with a score of 5,996 points.
Lily Porth was an America East Champion as well, closing out the Day 1 schedule with a victory in the 10,000-meter run. The rookie from Jericho, Vermont logged a time of 36:46.73 to win by a 15.06-second margin.
Two Catamounts finished All-Conference in field events.
Marina Cannon earned the third All-Conference honor of her career. The senior finished second in the pole vault with a mark of 3.50 meters, that matched her top jump of the season.
Zane Russom also secured All-Conference in the field with a third-place finish in javelin. The junior launched a throw of 57.41 meters.
The UVM women had two All-Conference winners in the steeplechase.
Jane Leighton and
Phoebe Koski finished second and third, with times of 10:31.60 and 10:37.56, respectively. Leighton's time was the second-fastest mark in program history, behind only 2012 NCAA All-America Honorable Mention Kirsten Weberg.
Vermont also had a pair of All-Conference runners in the 400-meter dashes. On the women's side,
Sonia John logged a third-place finish with a personal-best time of 56.50 seconds.
Alex Siaton finished second on the men's side, with a program-best 48.05-second mark.
Lauren Triarsi was All-Conference in the women's heptathlon. The sophomore placed third with a score of 4,391 points, which is the seventh-best mark in program history.
