Nic Lemen
Hometown: Cincinnati, Ohio
Height/Weight: 6-1/165 lbs.
Previous Team: FC Cincinnati
- Lemen joins the UVM program as a first-year after playing club soccer for FC Cincinnati
- He was also the goalkeeper for Lakota East High School, where he earned a district championship as a junior in 2019.
Brendan Pulley
Hometown: Holly Springs, N.C.
Height/Weight: 6-0/166 lbs.
Previous Team: UNCG
- Transferring to Vermont from UNC Greensboro
- Started 13 games as a rookie in 2019 and was named a SoCon All-Freshman and a member of the All-SoCon Second Team after posting a league-best 0.98 goals against average
Adrian Schulze Solano
Hometown: Bad Soden am Taunus, Germany
Height/Weight: 6-1/187 lbs
Previous Team: FSV Frankfurt
- Joins the Catamounts after playing center back for FSV Frankfurt in Germany.
- The 6-1 defender chose UVM for the opportunity to, "play with an outstanding soccer team, with extraordinary characters."
Yves Borie
Hometown: Karlsuhe, Germany
Height/Weight: 6-3/182 lbs.
Previous Team: SV Sandausen
- Comes to Catamount Country after playing club soccer in his home country of Germany
- Spent the 2020 campaign with the SV Sandausen program
Jared Leheta
Hometown: Brossard, Que.
Height/Weight: 6-0, 185 lbs.
Previous Team: East Tennessee State
- Transfers to UVM after one season with East Tennessee State University
- Earned All-SoCon Second Team and SoCon All-Freshman honors last season after posting a team-high six goals and 12 points
Matt Black
Hometown: Brighton, U.K.
Height/Weight: 6-2/182 lbs.
Previous Team: Loughborough University
- Joins the Catamounts after playing for Loughborough University in the United Kingdom. Born in Harare, Zimbabwe, Black also played rugby growing up
- The Brighton, United Kingdom native chose UVM for the, "strong soccer program, and beautiful country."
Mujtaba Mirhasan
Hometown: Greenfield Park, Que.
Height/Weight: 6-4/185 lbs.
Previous Team: Montreal Impact Academy
- Mirhasan comes to UVM after playing for the Montreal Impact Academy
- The forward scored 15 goals in 11 games for the Impact at the United States Soccer Development Academy Cup
Connor Thompson
Hometown: Kennebunk, Maine
Height/Weight: 6-0/170 lbs.
Previous Team: Seacoast United Academy
- Thompson joins fellow Kennebunk native Max Murray as a Catamount
- The 6-0, 170-pound midfielder played academy soccer for Seacoast United
Nacho Lerech
Hometown: San Miguel de Tucuman, Argentina
Height/Weight: 5-10/180 lbs.
Previous Team: Newman University
- Lerech joins the Catamounts after stints with North Carolina Wesleyan and Newman University
- As a rookie, Lerech led North Carolina Wesleyan to its first ever conference title and was named team MVP
- He registered 19 goals, 10 assists, and 48 points in 46 games at Newman, and led the Jets last season with eight goals, three assists and 19 points.
Cole Richardson
Hometown: Easton, Mass.
Height/Weight: 6-1/175 lbs.
Previous Team: New England Revolution Academy
- Richardson comes to Catamount Country after four seasons as a center back for the New England Revolution Academy
- The Massachusetts native chose UVM because of the, "strong academics the university has to offer."
Vermont begins the 2021 campaign on Thursday, August 26 with a trip to Iona. After stops at Lehigh (Aug. 29) and Colgate (Sep. 3), Vermont returns to Burlington for the home opener on Tuesday, September 7 when it hosts Princeton at Virtue Field.
