King joins the Catamounts a year removed from receiving a master's degree in Athletic Leadership from Castleton State University and a stint on the Spartan field hockey staff.
As a student-athlete at Quinnipiac, she was a four-time Bobcat Scholar Athlete of the Year and a three-time All-Conference selection – twice in the MAAC and once in the BIG EAST. King led the nation in defensive saves in consecutive seasons – 13 each year in 2015 and 2016 – and served as a team captain in 2017. And following her senior season she was announced as a nominee for the NCAA's Woman of the Year Award.
King has also spent time working in the UVM athletic department in the Student-Athlete Development office.
The Cats are back in action this weekend with a pair of games including the home opener. UVM takes on UMass Friday afternoon in Amherst before returning home on Sunday for a matchup with Holy Cross.
