DURHAM, N.H. – Jane Leighton and
Andrew Crompton raced to third-place overall finishes in their respective races as Vermont cross country saw strong performances from it's men's and women's teams. The UVM men finished in second with 56 points in the 8k race. The Vermont women registered 62 points for third place in the 5k.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Leighton led the UVM women with a time of 17:37.57 for third-place overall and a new personal-best mark.
- Meaghan Alba (18:25.05) and Kelly (18:32.93) also finished in the top-10, earning third-place and 10th-place finishes, respectively.
- Andie Cornish (18:58.85) and Veronica Bassett (19:11.94) finished 18th and 23rd to round out the Vermont scorers.
- Crompton led the Catamount men with a time of 24:57.95 for his third-place finish.
- O'Driscoll (25:55.84) and Ian Denis (26:04.21) finished consecutively, in 11th and 12th, respectively.
- Wyatt Matyas (26:17.17) and Matt Hynes (26:23.19) placed 14th and 16th to round out the UVM scorers.
