BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont women's basketball graduate student
Josie Larkins, a Curriculum and Instruction major, is our TD Bank Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending January 9.
At UNH on January 5 she scored a team-high 17 points as the Catamounts defeated the Wildcats by 23, the largest ever margin for UVM on the road in Durham. She hit five three-pointers against UNH surpassing Lori Taylor (1994-98) for second all-time in program history with 198 made three-pointers. This season Larkins is 29th in the NCAA making 43.0% of her three-pointers. She's made 40 triples this season which is tied for 24th in the NCAA.
The Catamounts will return home to host UMBC tomorrow at 1 p.m. from Patrick Gym. Fans can listen live on the Vermont Sports Network, from Learfield IMG College on WVMT with Cooper Boardman on the call or stream the action on ESPN3.
