AMERICA EAST IMPACT PLAYERS
First year
Sydney Remington has made an early impact on Catamount Country amassing a total of 10 points on four assists and three goals. Remington is tied for the lead in the America East with the four assists. Remington is also 11th in the conference with her 10 points.
Kate Bossert is tied for third in the America East with six goals and her 14 points also have her tied for third in the conference.
Bailey Ayer's game-winning goal against Stonehill has her tied for fifth in the America East on such goals.
Erin Murphy has recorded three shutouts in net this season which is fourth best in the conference.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
New Hampshire comes into this weekend's matchup with a 6-5-1 record and 3-1-1 in the America East. UNH plays the Catamounts following a 6-1 victory over Bryant at home on Thursday, October 13. Maddy Warren scored twice in the victory while Emily Bini and Anna Hewlett each added two assists. The Wildcats are led by sophomore Meghan Guarente who has five goals and four assists for 14 points on the season. Her four assists are tied for first in the America East, while her 14 points rank her third in the conference. Junior Emily Bini and first year Abbi Maier have each contributed a goal, while Bini has also registered four assists. New Hampshire is anchored in net by Cat Sheppard who has started every game but one this season, registering four wins, 51 saves, a 1.20 goal against average and an .810 save percentage. Her 12 goals allowed this season is the best for qualifying goalkeepers in the America East.
INSIDE THE SERIES
The Catamounts trail the series against the Wildcats with an all-time record of 18-22-5, with the first matchup coming in 1977 in Burlington. The last time these two teams played was November 7, 2021, where they faced off in the America East Championship. Vermont came away with the 1-0 victory at Virtue Field. Over the past 10 matchups UVM has gone 3-5-2, with two of those victories coming in the previous two matchups. New Hampshire has narrowly outscored Vermont 13-11 over the last 10 matchups.

Following Sunday's competition at New Hampshire the Catamounts will continue America East play on the road the following Sunday. Vermont will travel to Newark, New Jersey on Sunday, October 23 to take on NJIT at 12 p.m. and that game will be broadcast on ESPN3.
