Corinne McCool was named Hockey East Player of the Week Monday afternoon by the conference office. It is the Catamounts' first weekly award of the season and marks the second time in her career McCool has earned the honor.

McCool led the way for the 14th ranked Catamounts this weekend as they swept a weekend series with RIT by identical 5-2 scores. McCool had two assists on Friday night and two goals and an assist on Saturday night. McCool is currently tied for 12th in the NCAA with five points this season, although she is the only player in the top-12 grouping to have played fewer than four games.
The Catamounts hit the road in Hockey East action for the first-time next weekend. They will face Holy Cross in a two-game set from Worcester. Saturday afternoon the teams will faceoff at 1 p.m. and then on Sunday they will do battle at 3 p.m.
