SCOUTING THE ROCKETS
Toledo is the fourth-highest ranked team to visit Patrick Gym in the last five seasons. Ranked at No. 106 in KenPom, the Rockets carry a 7-4 mark, with wins in three of their last five games. Toledo suffered a 100-85 loss at Marshall on Saturday afternoon. JT Shumate (19.6 ppg) and RayJ Dennis (19.3 ppg) lead the Rockets' offense and are ranked No. 28 and No. 37 nationally in scoring. Dennis is No. 11 in the country in assists per game (6.1). Toledo is one of the more efficient offensive teams in the country, ranked No. 32 in adjusted offensive efficiency by KenPom. The Rockets were picked No. 2 in the MAC Preseason Poll after winning the regular season in 2021-22.

Vermont and Toledo meet for the third time in series history, and the first time in Burlington. The Catamounts and Rockets last met in the 2009-10 season, with UVM taking an 82-49 victory. Maurice Joseph scored 21 points to lead Vermont.

Vermont has enjoyed a homecourt advantage at Patrick Gym, winning 18 straight on Tom Brennan Court. UVM's home winning streak is the 10th-longest streak in the country. The Cats are 213-50 (.810) over the last 20 seasons at home.

Toledo will be Vermont's eighth opponent that earned a postseason bid a season ago. The Rockets are one of three opponents to make the NIT in 2021. The Catamounts have already faced five NCAA Tournament teams during non-conference play, and will face one more when they visit Miami (Dec. 28) before their focus turns to league opponents.
