SHARON COLYEAR-DANVILLE SEASON OPENER
BOSTON – Vermont track & field saw its student-athletes produce strong performances to open the indoor season Saturday at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener, hosted by Boston University.
Alex Siaton posted a 300-meter school record to open the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Siaton was fourth in the men's 400-meter run with a time of 50.35 seconds. Alex Warner also competed in the sprint, recording a time of 51.66 seconds for 16th place. Siaton and Warner were 10th and 15th, respectively, in the 300-meter dash with times of 35.12 seconds and 35.97 seconds.
- Lauren Triarsi finished third in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.07 seconds. The senior placed second in the prelims with a time of 8.98 seconds. Triarsi also added a fourth-place finish in the long jump with a time of 5.42 meters.
- Gabby Rausa also logged a third-place finish, posting a time of 1:00.34 in the women's 400-meter run.
- Jane Leighton recorded a time of 16:54.30 in the women's 5000-meter run. Andrew Crompton closed out the day with a time of 14:52.29.
