COACH'S QUOTE
"While our circumstances don't allow us to be in the hunt for team titles, I am confident that our men and women will compete to earn every point possible," head coach Matt Belfield said. "All have prepared to commit their best efforts on behalf of their teammates; and we will celebrate every success we achieve. The sacrifice and dedication of our student-athletes and coaching staff is noteworthy, and it's something that I value immensely. The time is here, and these Catamounts will perform well when it counts."

HOW MANY DAYS?!
Vermont competes in the America East Indoor Championships for the first time in 734 days after the cancelation of last year's championships due to the global pandemic. Several current Catamounts earned All-Conference honors in 2020 with both teams placing sixth in the conference.

ZANE'S 800
Then-rookie Zane Reservitz recorded a victory in the 800-meter run at the 2020 Indoor Championships, with a personal-best time of 1:54.77. Reservitz posted his championship-winning time coming out of the second-seeded section. Bill Comstock finished third (1:55.17) to earn All-Conference honors.

ANOTHER SHOT AT THE 800?!
Bill Comstock ranks No. 2 on the conference performance list in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:51.27 that was set on Feb. 5 at the Scarlet & White Invite. The senior's mark trails the fastest time by only 0.08 seconds.

LEIGHTON'S 1K
Jane Leighton has the second-fastest 1000-meter mark in the conference this season, posting an adjusted time of 2:53.78 at the Middlebury Winterfell on Jan. 22.

SECOND ALL-TIME
Sofia Wittmann posted the second-highest pole vault mark in Vermont women's track & field history, launching 3.65 meters at the Fastrack National Invite on Feb. 11.
