COACH'S QUOTE
"It was a nice weather day for a big track & field meet and many of our folks took advantage with winning and personal-best performances. Jane's steeplechase was certainly a highlight of the day and moves her well up in the national rankings. Lauren's 100-meter hurdles time is one of the better marks in school history as well. Emma and Sonia had nice victories as well. I thought Kenny and Christian were impressive in the 800-meter run and Bill running consistently at 1:52 sets him up nicely for the trials and finals situations at the America East Championships. Wyatt can still run better technically, but his steeplechase was still a lifetime best. A highlight in the field events for the men was Carson in the pole vault. He has made great progress with all aspects of his jumping and is having a blast doing it.
Morgan Kelley's quiet and dedicated hard work in the discus paid off with a big PR today. Some will rest and some will tune up next week at Amherst – and the team is excited to be home for America East next month."
